ABOUT US

AV&R is a Quebec engineering company specialized in robotics recognized worldwide and working in the fields of aerospace, energy and orthopedics.

We design complex robotic systems with a high level of technology. The expertise of our engineering graduate team has been developed on gas turbine parts (with or without coating) and orthopedic implants.

More specifically, AV&R offers robotic finishing machines (profiling, sanding, deburring) and automated visual inspection to manufacturers of gas turbine parts used both in aircraft engines and to generate energy, and manufacturers of orthopedic prostheses.

At AV&R, we know that process automation is useful to humans and we believe that it should be done simply.

We made it our mission: Humanize robotics!

This means that we want to make robots more accessible and adapted to the needs of our customers so that they are easily implanted in manufacturing plants, regardless of their field. The daily actions of AV&R employees are guided by the ambition to:

  • Simplify robot programming so everyone can program
  • Make robots smart to react to their environment
  • Work with robots to have the robot assist humans in difficult tasks, not replace them
  • Make our robotic solutions accessible to all by optimizing costs
  • Ensure safety to protect nearby humans
