A Launch Event at the Heart of European Innovation
On June 13, 2025, the partnership was officially launched at Saint-Gobain’s European Grinding Technology Center (EGTC) in Norderstedt, Germany, in the presence of our European partners and several local German clients. The event celebrated the arrival of AV&R’s BF-X 200-c robotic machine at the EGTC—an important step in our collaboration.
Jean-François Dupont, CEO of AV&R, was on-site to mark the occasion and highlight the importance of this installation for the co-development of advanced abrasive and robotic surface finishing processes. The BF-X 200-c will be used for testing, demonstration, and innovation within this world-class facility.
First Demonstration for European Guests
The event featured a live demonstration of the BF-X 200-c conducted by Julien Pierre, European Strategic Accounts Manager, and Sami Hached, robotic expert at AV&R. Attendees were able to witness firsthand the machine’s performance and the advantages it brings to high-precision surface treatment.
