SME Passport selects AV&R

AV&R Vision & Robotics is selected to take part of the first edition of SME Passport, program created by the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal. SME Passport is an internationalization assistance program that aims to provide personalized support to SMEs demonstrating the ambition and a strong potential for developing their activities on an international level and to already exporting SMEs wanting to add new markets to their activities.

“Over 45 companies applied for SME Passport and 15 were chosen based on their potential and commitment to breaking into new markets,” said Michel Leblanc, President and CEO of the Board of Trade of Metropolitan Montreal. “This first group represents a variety of sectors that have the potential for success in foreign markets. Our goal is to propel local entrepreneurs onto the international scene.”

The criteria the jury used to select the 15 finalists from Western Quebec and Montreal were: competitive advantage, financial situation, management commitment, intended approach and international development objectives.

AV&R wishes to benefit from this ongoing support program to accelerate its business development in Asia.
